Mickey Clark and the Blue Norther

Singer/songwriter Mickey Clark is a native of Louisville, Ky., and has a diverse background in both country and folk music. His interest in music was jumpstarted at the age of five when his mother took him to a live radio show at Howell’s Furniture Store in downtown Louisville. He began playing folk music while attending Purdue University, traveling the folk circuit from Chicago to Florida and New York with The New Village Singers. After relocating to New York, the group disbanded and Mickey toured as a solo act on the national college coffeehouse circuit. Mickey has performed at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival and the Philadelphia Folk Festival; was a featured performer on two National Geographic recordings; and has performed shows with Jerry Jeff Walker, Ian Tyson, Willie Nelson, Townes Van Zandt, Steve Goodman, Jimmy Buffet, Linda Ronstadt and the Eagles.
