Blessid Union of Souls, founded by lead singer and Kentucky resident Eliot Sloan in 1990, is a pop/rock band that boasts eight Top 40 hits, including “I Believe,” “I Wanna Be There” and “Hey Leonardo, She Likes Me for Me.” Their trademark sound reflects tight instrumentals and songwriting that delivers lyrics that range from soulful to inspirational.Another trademark of the band is their dynamic live performances, which have taken them across Europe and the U.S., playing with performers such as The Goo Goo Dolls, Bon Jovi, Huey Lewis and the News, Shania Twain and more.

They are currently in studio working on their latest project (title TBA), which is to be released this fall for both the Christian Contemporary and Hot AC markets. They are also working on another passion project inspired by a devoted fan. They have established the charity organization “Hire Calling” to help physically and/or intellectually challenged individuals secure meaningful employment in an effort to help them become confident and independent.
The band’s continued success is based on their desire to convey a message of peace, hope and love through their lyrics, music and performances.
