The James Family Band
The James Family Band, hailing from the small town of Corinth, Ky., is made up of seasoned bluegrass entertainers. Belting out classic bluegrass hits and modern favorites for the past 18 years, Paul James Sr. clearly taught his sons Paul Jr., Robin, Scott and Daniel well. Scott and Daniel make the very instruments the family plays on stage.

The James Family Band
The James Family Band has taken its show on the road, picking with bluegrass stars such as J.D. Crowe and the late Homer Ledford. The band has performed at rallies for former Kentucky Governor Paul Patton and Kentucky Representative Royce Adams and at the wedding reception of Google’s Ryan Hausnagel, as well as at The Kentucky Center for the Arts, the Appalachian Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Renfro Valley Fiddler’s Festival in Renfro Valley, Ky. The band was featured on Kentucky Life, a program on PBS affiliate Kentucky Education Television (KET).
Bringing an eclectic mix of clawhammer, rock, traditional and gospel to a younger generation of fans is as much a driving force for the band as pleasing the old-school bluegrass fanatic. The James Family Band believes in keeping the heritage of bluegrass music alive.
