Out of the rural setting of south central Kentucky erupts an electrifying blues sound startling, in its intensity. One Shot Johnny holds an audience at rapt attention with its rendition of a slow blues standard and then fills the dance floor with an up-tempo funk number from its own collection of original material.The band delivers music that rocks, smolders then burns. Music that swings, first soothes, then excites. Formed in December 1997, One Shot Johnny has evolved into a driving force on the regional blues scene, recording three albums along the way.
