Circus Mojo
Circus Mojo is based in Ludlow and specializes in circus arts classes, workshops and event entertainment. The circus arts, like equestrian sports, combine artistry with athleticism. Circus Mojo presents the circus arts with a fresh perspective and provides high quality and high energy entertainment. Physical skills such as juggling, balancing, unicycling and ball, stilt and tight-wire walking coalesce with creative expression such as improvisation and theatrical clowning. A Circus Mojo performance engages audiences with laughter and awe and emanates mojo-talent, zeal, confidence, drive and spirit.
Paul Miller is the creator, producer and lead artist of Circus Mojo. He graduated with a degree in Drama from the University of Cincinnati’s College Conservatory of Music (1998) and a degree in Higher Hilarity from Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Clown College. Miller was on the ’96-97 tour with Ringilng Bros. Circus and part of a six-month international show in Japan. In 2001 he founded CircEsteem, a youth circus organization in Chicago. One of his former CircEsteem students, Emmanuel Tawiah, has moved to Kentucky and joined Circus Mojo as a teacher and performer. Tawiah was born in Ghana and has performed in over 300 circus shows.
