Thursday, May 22, 2008, 1:00 - 4:00 PM (EDT), Lexington, KY The Kentucky Arts Council and the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts are partnering to bring you this workshop on Architecture, Accessibility and the Arts.

This workshop is for Arts and Cultural Organizations, including volunteers:

The Kentucky Arts Council has a commitment to accessible arts and provides this training for your staff, board and volunteers to assist your organization in meeting that expectation. Participating in this workshop will make it possible for you to indicate training received on your application(s) to the Kentucky Arts Council.

Presenters are David Carter, AIA, and Steve Brown of Sherman Carter Barnhart; Mary Lyons, Arts District Manager, and Kathie Hickey, Renaissance Manager of the City of Covington; and Martha M. Newman, Director of Access Services, The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts.

Fee: Free but pre-registration is required.
